RN's specialized in caring for elderly or recuperating individuals in their home. They work closely with hospitals, physicians and family to coordinate and carry out individualized plans of care. RN's also assist with the Discharge Plan Upon Admission.

Home Health Aides
Shamrock Home Health Aides are among the best in the field. In addition to being carefully screened, all aides participate in ongoing training to improve their skills. They provide personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy
Physical, Speech & Occupational therapists help patients regain functions lost to accidents and diseases such as stroke, cancer and heart disease.

Social Work
Social Workers assist with long-range planning for the elderly and disabled. They help families access community resources and services and provide financial counseling for reimbursement by Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance.

Maternal-Child Early Discharge
Due to the recent trend in early discharge, new mothers need additional education by RN's in infant care, bathing, diapering, and breast and bottle feeding. If indicated, the help of a Home Health Aide is also available.
